Curtis James Jackson III, or more popularly known as 50 Cent, says that he can’t help but notice the similarities between his music video “Animal Ambition” and the “3AM” fragrance ad from Puff Daddy.
During the weekend, 50 Cent shared an Instagram image collage where he compared shots between the video of his song and of Puffy’s racy ad. In such image post, he captioned “Hmmmm pretty similar” and wondered if Sean John Combs, Puff Daddy’s real name, copied the concept from his video. Jackson advised Diddy to have at least shot the sensual fragrance advertisement with the director of “Animal Ambition”. Perhaps the most distinct similarity between the videos is the red moon backdraft and both rappers “making love” to a sexy woman.
This isn’t exactly the only time 50 Cent fired shots against Puff Daddy. A year ago, Cent disses at Puffy and Ciroc after the 2 signed an endorsement contract with EFFEN Vodka. Around the same time, he called Puffy a “sucker” in an interview with GQ. This hints that the issue between the 2 rappers has not yet been resolved despite the fact that both admitted there were no longer problems in separate interviews. Their quarrel started when Cent recorded a song called “Hip-Hop” where he attempts to expose P. Diddy about the murder of Notorious B.I.G.
Aside from Puff Daddy, Curtis James is known to criticize other rappers as well. He had feuds with Cam’ron, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, Nas, Rick Ross, The Game, and Young Buck.
