Glasses Malone’s Mothers Day Cards inspired by Tupac Shakur’s “Dear Mama”

With Mother’s Day fast approaching over the weekend, Glasses Malone (or Charles Phillip Ivory Penniman) gets inspired by Tupac Shakur’s “Dear Mama” and decides to make his own Mother’s Day cards.

In Glasses’ opinion, we would make do without traditional greetings cards because these have the tendency to be corny. This made him want to help everyone in expressing gratitude for their respective mothers without relying too much on cliché by deciding to make custom Mother’s Day greeting cards and put them on sale. The gratitude cards were inspired by 2Pac’s “Dear Mama” because, according to him, the 1995 single is the all-time best song for mothers. When one thinks of showing respect to their mother’s on this occasion, he believes that using the influential Shakur classic is most appropriate.

Malone’s greeting cards feature lyrics from the said song which will certainly give mothers a warm feeling in the heart and that they are highly appreciated. Also featured in the heartening cards are images of the said singer with his mother. The limited edition cards are available for purchase directly from Glasses Malone’s Instagram account. The Los Angeles rapper just wants to give moms something they deserve, he concluded.

During the week, Glasses Malone released the song “My World” which is a tribute to his late mother. In the said record, he is joined in by Brian McKnight. With regards to his other songs, it was last month when his single “Thuggin’” hit the top Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart where he collaborated with Kendrick Lamar.
