Ice Cube “Ride Along” Movie Expected to Make $40 Million
Ice Cube’s “Ride Along” movie is expected to reach number one of the box office this weekend and is expected to earn $14.4 million during its first day of release last Friday, January 17. According to variety.com, during the four-day weekend, the film is also expected to earn approximately $40 million.
If the movie, which also stars Kevin Hart, will hit $40 million during the Martin Luther King Day holiday weekend, it will be considered the second highest grossing opening film during the holiday after Cloverfield, released in 2008 earned $46.1 million.
