Jennifer Hudson Addresses Illuminati Rumors
Jennifer Hudson is one of the few celebrities being recently linked to the ongoing rumors about the Illuminati online.
Hudsons’ career started to blossom in 2008, and on the same year, her mother, brother and nephew were murdered.
Since then, critics have been claiming that the unfortunate tragedy was linked to the secret society referred to as the Illuminati. Rumors are circulating that she sacrificed her family to get both fame and money.
But during her recent interview with Washington D.C. radio station Majic 102.3, the singer addressed such rumors including her mother and her newest album ‘JHUD.’
“I think people find a way to discredit people in everything you do. Nothing is ever what it really is. And at the end of the day, we all work hard for what we get and what we do just like anyone else. And it’s unfair that some people would be that cruel to impose such negativity on things that is done from a positive place and perspective. And t’s very hurtful and extremely upsetting. Especially coming from a Christian standpoint,” she said.
“Every time I hear stuff like that, I’m like ‘You will not take the credit for God’s work and give it to Satan. Not on my watch. Not on my watch.’ So again, it’s extremely upsetting. There’s so much to be said about that, but you don’t have the time, and neither do I,” she added.
This isn’t the first time Hudson addressed such rumors because in 2011, she also confronted the same issue and told her fans this:
“I’m so glad someone brought this Illuminati mess up because only a child of God would address it. That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my life. And it’s offensive because basically what? The people that are here today don’t deserve to be where they are? What, we didn’t work for it? So I find—and I hate to go there—but I find it’s those that can’t make it that would probably join Illuminati, or whoever that is, to get somewhere.”
“Don’t listen to that type of stuff, don’t follow that stuff because those people are only luring you in to become a part of some mess like that, so know that you’re only falling victim. That’s their way of gaining [followers]. I’d advise you to stay away from it. Those who are reading it are falling into it. It could not be more untrue.”
