Lil Bossie finally walks free from prison after serving his sentence on marijuana charges since 2009.
The 31-year old Louisiana rapper was released from a Louisiana State Penitentiary around 7 PM CST last Wednesday, March 5.
Back in 2009, Bossie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, pleaded guilty to a third-offense marijuana possession. During his incarceration, he faced other additional charges, particularly murder for killing Terry Boyd in 2009.
Bossie was accused of paying Mike “Marlo Mike” Louding to kill Boyd but was acquitted from such charge in 2012. He also remained in prison after he pleaded guilty in 2011 for smuggling drugs charges.
According to the report by MTV, the rapper in conjunction with Trill Entertainment and Atlantic Records will be having a press conference on Monday, March 10 at 1 PM at W Hotel in New Orleans.
“He will absolutely be there,” reps for Atlantic Records said. “He’ll be speaking to the press for the first time, after his release.”
