Tyrese Visits Paul Walker’s Crash Site

Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role in the Fast & Furious movies died in a car crash this weekend at around 3:30 PM on Saturday.

The accident took place last Saturday afternoon in Santa Clarita, California wherein the 40-year old actor died on the spot. According to reports, the driver of the Porsche Carrera GT loss control of the sports car and skidded off the road before it slammed into the pole and burst into flames. Both Walker and the driver were killed on the spot after the accident.

“He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives,” a rep for the actor said in a statement. The actor’s camp also confirmed the sad news via the actor’s official Twitter account wherein they posted “It’s with a heavy heart that we must confirm Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident…”

According to the statement they released, the actor came from a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan before the accident. “We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news,” the statement continued. “Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.”

Hollywood is still on a state of shock after their recent loss of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker who died last Saturday in a car crash. Walker was sitting in the passenger seat while his friend Roger Roads, the CEO of custom car shop Always Evolving, was driving the Porsche car. Both of them died on the scene of the accident.

One of those mourners was Tyrese, a singer-actor who starred alongside Walker in several installments of the Fast and Furious film franchise. The actor visited the crash site in Santa Clarita, California Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was seen mourning as he referred Walker like a family in some of the social media posts.

After he visited the site, Tyrese posted a photograph on his Instagram account of him with ashes from the crash site in his hand with a caption of “I will keep your energy with me forever #AshesOfAnAngel fast family around the world we live you and we love you Paul is the heartbeat of this franchise and were gonna see to it that his energy and presence lives on forever #myhearthurtssobadFollow”.

He also posted a video on the same account featuring Walker celebrating his 40th birthday with cupcakes with a caption of “Not just a family on camera were a real family #WeJustCelebratedHis40th Pray for his daughter and family and closest friends please this hurts #RIHAW (Rest in HEAVEN Angel Walker) Stay strong #FastFamily #MyLastPostFollow.”
