Peps Final Say
Wow Gaza and Dancehall fans will be heavily disappointed with the Guilty Verdict in which Dancehall Superstar Vybz Kartel was found. Deep down I felt that Kartel would certainly be a free man this week and it seems that the trial took a turn towards the unexpected. As a Vybz Kartel fan it is difficult to believe that Kartel will not be back on the road for a longtime and it is also disappointing to know that his career and Dancehall could potentially be negatively impacted through this sad situation. Even though I would have been happy to see Kartel free at no point do I want to support the killing of a person and do send condolences to the family of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
If Kartel is 100% guilty and involved then I guess its unfortunate to say but justice has to take place and he will have to take responsibility for his actions but in saying that I do feel there is so much corruption in this world and people have been against Kartel for a longtime and many of them would want to see Vybz Kartel fail so there is more to what was read out as a verdict in my opinion. The truth is something which is always difficult to identify in these tragic circumstances and especially with all the twist and turns in this trial over the 65 days has led to so many grey areas and uncertainty. I just hope that Kartel is not facing life in prison as such a talented individual needs to be on road expressing their work through the music and inspiring others to achieve. Disregards all the negatives that surrounds Vybz Kartel no one can deny that he is a gifted and talented individual.
Apparently Vybz Kartel and his four co-accused will have to return to court on March 27 2014 for the sentencing and I am sure there are plenty more twist and turns to come. #FreeWorldBoss
